Spoken from experience, a twin sized comforter is too small for a twin sized mattress. It goes like this:
You make your bed,
you tuck one side in, a pretty good tuck,
you cant really tuck the other side so you stuff it down by the wall and say "okay. That works."
Then you crawl in bed that night, wanting to cocoon down and get warm
when all of a sudden..
The backside is exposed. There's none of that rolling on one side business or your whole back can feel a draft.
This also applies when you have a friend come spend the night,
this blanket is not big enough for two.
So buy a full for a twin.
a Queen for a full (lucky..)
or (if you're the luckiest) a King for a Queen.
if you have a bed anything bigger than that in a college dorm, well, you're not really living in a dorm,
your living in a freaking castle.
